What is a LifeCycle?
If you manage customer relationships, then you probably know the importance of the Customer LifeCycle.
As a customer moves through the various stages of making a purchase, they're moving through the customer lifecycle. This may begin with some cleverly targeted marketing content, followed by contact with customer. Then after they make the leap and the purchase, contact with the customer is carefully nurtured, loyalty is built, and hopefully they will return to make more purchases!
This is the customer lifecycle, and understanding the stages your customers moves through enables you to create a perfectly timed marketing strategy, and ultimately increase revenue and brand loyalty.
Flows by Enreach has a dedicated LifeCycle module where you can custom create as many LifeCycles as you need, and easily track what stage in the sales process your Leads are.
Let's take a look at an example LifeCycle a Lead may move through:
- Stage 1: Blank Lead. Here the Lead has been imported through a Lead Source, but hasn't yet been Segmented, or contacted by an Agent in your Organisation.
- Stage 2: Social Warm-up. At this stage, the Lead has received some carefully crafted marketing messages, so they're aware of your brand and what you offer. Warming up the Lead gets them ready for the next stage of the LifeCycle.
- Stage 3: Call Activity. Now the Lead is familiar with your brand, and has maybe consented to receive communication for you. The Lead moves from Flows by Enreach to Outbound by Enreach, where an Agent will call the Lead, trying to convert them from prospect to customer.
- Stage 4: Confirmation. Success! The Lead has made the purchase, and an Email confirmation is sent through Flows by Enreach.
- Stage 5: Follow-up Call. Once the Lead has purchased, follow-up communication will ensure that the Lead is totally happy with the purchase, and the nurturing will begin: this will build trust, and increase the chances of the Lead returning for more purchases, and even telling others about your great brand.

Please note! In order to create a new LifeCycle, you must first create and save the Status Codes.
When you have done this, return to the LifeCycle editor and only then can you select a status in the Change Status To drop-down menu.
Add the name of your new LifeCycle in the text field.
Next, begin adding the name of the Status Codes. Click Add New Status to create more.

Now you can add the Change status to status. If you have limited the time a Lead can spend in one status, this is the status they will move to when they have reached the time limit.
